Donate Your Used Eyeglasses – Lions Club
June 23, 2009
Lions Recycle for Sight Program Collection Center

Donate old eyeglasses for children in need!
Do you have a pair of eyeglasses that is no longer being used? Those old eyeglasses can change another person’s life.
We are proud to be a local collection center for the Lions Recycle for Sight program.
Throughout the year, volunteers and collection centers such as Andrew Stone Optometry collect used eyeglasses and deliver them to regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers (LERCs). LERC volunteers clean, sort by prescription strength and package the glasses. Most of the recycled glasses are distributed to people in need in developing countries where they will have the greatest impact.
How You Can Help
If you have used eyeglasses you no longer need, please bring them to Andrew Stone Optometry. We accept prescription and reading glasses, sunglasses and plastic and metal frames. Children’s glasses are especially needed.

Why choose contact lenses?
June 10, 2009
Contact lenses are increasingly popular eyewear choice because they’re worn directly on the eye – which means no distracting frames, an increased field of vision, they don’t fog up and you can wear stylish sunglasses!
We offer rigid gas permeable and soft contact lenses including bifocal, toric, and color contacts too. Read more about contact lenses.
Why choose eyeglasses?
June 10, 2009
Eyeglasses remain a popular eyewear option for aesthetic and practical reasons. Eyeglass manufacturers offer stylish and affordable frames for every size, color and shape of face – and eyeglasses are less expensive than contacts or surgery, have no side effects, can be worn by children and also protect your eyes.
